She brings a very positive energy to a project and has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera. During our documentary shoot, she communicated wonderfully with restaurant owners and local Japanese craftspeople, helping create authentic and meaningful interactions on camera. Nina is awesome to work with. She coordinated a dozen or so English writers and photographers to chronicle the chaos and joy of Asia's biggest music festival. For months before the event we collaborated via skype and email to ensure daily posting on various platforms. And when the music began, we all meshed beautifully in one hot, sweaty tent typing out some of the best rock prose you can imagine.
Nina was always gracious when working with new staff as well as grumpy veterans like myself. She is a natural manager and takes everyone's views into account.
